BATON ROUGE — LSU wide receiver Ed Dangerfield underwent successful surgery on Tuesday to repair extensive damage to his right knee in an injury suffered late in Saturday’s scrimmage at Tiger Stadium.
Dangerfield may be doubtful for the fall football season because his leg will be immobilized for a period of time which will delay the beginning of his rehabilitation process.
Surgery was performed by Dr. Brent Bankston and Dr. Larry Ferachi at Baton Rouge General Health Center.
