BATON ROUGE — Three new LSU athletics posters and schedule cards for the fall sports including football, volleyball and soccer are now available for fans to pick up free of charge on the first floor of the Athletics Administration Building.
The team posters and schedule cards, which were designed by the LSU publications office, can be picked up during regular office hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday while supplies last. Fans are asked to display the posters and schedule cards proudly around town.
The football poster features Tiger seniors Chevis Jackson, Will Arnold, Ali Highsmith, Early Doucet, Glenn Dorsey, Matt Flynn, Keith Zinger, Jacob Hester and Jonathan Zenon, along with the 2007 schedule above the slogan “Lighting Up Saturday Night.” Doucet appears on the outside of the bi-fold football schedule card, which includes the team’s 2007 schedule.
The seven returning members of the LSU volleyball team, including Shannon Balikowsky, Michelle Hensgens, Maggie Lonergan, Marina Skender, Kyna Washington, Brittnee Cooper, Lauren DeGirolamo and Elena Martinez, and Baton Rouge area freshman Brittney Cooper are featured the volleyball poster, which also includes the team schedule for 2007. Washington, a junior outside hitter, dons the cover of the tri-fold schedule card, which also displays the Tigers’ back-to-back SEC Western Division trophies. The season schedule and promotional information for the year are also available on the schedule card.
Although all returning members of the LSU soccer team are visible on the team’s poster, five key members of the team are highlighted above the slogan, “Front and Center.” The featured players include Roslyn Jones, Casey Crawford, Caroline Vanderpool, Chelsea Potts and Rachel Yepez. Senior Sara Pollock appears on the cover of the bi-fold soccer schedule card, which also includes the 2007 team schedule and promotional information for the season.
The football, volleyball and soccer posters and schedule cards are presented to you by Team LSU sponsors Cox Communications, Ochsner, Super Chevy Dealers, Peoples Health and Verizon Wireless. The football schedule card also includes several other valuable Tiger Partners, including Subway, the Louisiana Lottery, UPS and Adler’s, with additional sponsors Chase, Coca-Cola, Powerade and McDonald’s displayed.
