Kazan, Russia– LSU diver Juan Celaya-Hernandez earned a bronze medal, along with his partner Yahel Castillo, in the men’s three-meter synchronized dive that took place on Friday.

The team dove to a score of 400.53 to finish third, just half a point behind second place and three points behind the first place finishers.
On Saturday, Celaya-Hernandez finished in sixth place in Semifinal B on the three-meter springboard with a score of 347.85.
Celaya-Hernandez will be back in action when the FINA Diving World Series makes its way to London for competition beginning on May 17 and ending on May 19.
