AUSTIN, Texas– LSU senior Lizzie Cui qualified for tonight’s finals competition on the 1-Meter springboard on the first full day of competition at the 2019 NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships in Austin, Texas.
Cui dove to a score of 300.30 to finish in fifth place during the preliminary round this afternoon to advance. Also on the board for the Tigers, freshman Aimee Wilson dove to a score of 264.75 to finish in 27thplace in her first NCAA Championship appearance.
In the pool, senior Haylee Knight finished in a tie for 31stplace in the 50-Yard Freestyle during the preliminary heats, after touching the wall in 22.42.
