BATON ROUGE – The No. 18-ranked LSU women’s tennis team will travel to New Orleans for a Friday match at the City Park Pepsi Center. The match is slated for a 2 p.m. start.

The Matchup
LSU will meet Tulane for the 42nd time in program history. The Tigers have a 36-5 record against the Green Wave and defeated them at home last season, 4-2.
Tiger Tidbits
LSU earned the No. 18 spot in the latest ITA collegiate team ranking after impressive wins to start off the 2019 season. The Tigers remain undefeated with a 3-0 record.
Over the past weekend, LSU won the Tallahassee Regional of the ITA Kick-Off which secured them a spot in the ITA National Team Indoor Championships.

Tulane is 4-0 overall in the 2019 season after facing all Louisiana teams heading into the match up with LSU.
