BATON ROUGE — The LSU women’s tennis team comes in as the No. 18 team in the country according to the latest rankings released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Wednesday.
After a season opening win at South Florida, LSU went on to win the Tallahassee regional at ITA Kickoff Weekend beating Clemson and Tennessee. The Tigers are 3-0 on the season and are headed to the National Team Indoor Championships next week in Seattle.
The No. 30-ranked duo of sophomore Taylor Bridges and junior Paris Corley remain 3-0 on the courts. Bridges and Corley are each 2-0 in singles and are the only LSU players undefeated in both doubles and singles play.
The Tigers will return to the courts Friday, Feb. 1 at Tulane before competing in their first doubleheader of the season on Sunday, Feb. 3 against Rice and Southern at the LSU Tennis Complex.
