BATON ROUGE – LSU Basketball fans can come support the team and help a critical need at area food banks this Saturday by bringing a canned food item to Saturday’s 4 p.m. game with Grambling State at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards recently has asked citizens for assistance with a critical need to fill shelves at area food banks and LSU Basketball wants to help the cause. Fans can bring a canned good or non-perishable food item to the Maravich Center on Saturday and in exchange purchase a $1 ticket for the game.
Tickets for the game will be available on game day at the upper concourse ticket windows of the Maravich Center beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Also kids 12 and under will be allowed on the court for post-game free throws as part of youth day activities.
