EMERSON, Ga. – The LSU beach volleyball won the Rally Volleyball Collegiate Beach Bash at the Rally Sports Complex in Georgia on Saturday.
The Tigers finishing tied with Florida State with .650 winning percentage. In head-to-head matches against FSU, LSU finished plus-12, clinching the win for the Tigers.
The pair of Kristen Nuss and Claire Coppola finished undefeated with an 8-0 record. Melia Lindner and Hunter Domanski finsihed 7-1. The pairs of Kahlee York and Kelli Agnew, Megan Davenport and Ashley Allmer along with Tatum Ballard, Savannah Wininger and Alexis Toney all finished 6-2. Allison Coens and Maddie Ligon went 4-4. Olivia Powers and Ashlyn-Rasnick Pope along with Caitlin Broadwell and Jeni Clark finished 3-4.
The Tigers competed against pairs from four other CCSA schools including Florida State, Georgia State, South Carolina and UAB. The Rally Sports Complex is the same location where the CCSA Tournament will be held in the spring.
The Tigers will begin their spring season in Tallahassee Florida to compete in the FSU Invitational on the weekend of February 23.
