BATON ROUGE – The LSU volleyball team (7-14, 2-8 SEC) will look to get back on the winning track this weekend as the Tigers are on the road at Mississippi State (5-19, 1-10 SEC) Friday evening at 7 p.m. CT.    

The match will stream live on SEC Network+. Fans can access the match online through WatchESPN.com and the app. The match will also be available via live stats at LSUStats.com.

Series History with the Field
The Tigers lead the all-time series vs. the Bulldogs 58-9. The last time the Tigers lost to Mississippi State was in 2015, but the Tigers have won 20 out of the last 22 matches. LSU is currently on a three-game win streak against the Bulldogs.

Team Notes
>> LSU is coming off a straight-set loss to then-No. 24 Missouri by scores of 21-25, 24-26, 12-25. Taylor Bannister and Toni Rodriguez combined for 15 kills with eight and seven kills, respectively. Raigen Cianciulli led the back row with eight digs. The Tiger outblocked Missouri 7.0-2.0.

>> Bannister is ranked fourth among the league in kills per set at 4.29. She is also fourth in points per set at 4.79.

>> Raigen Cianciulli was named SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, Oct. 15 after picking up a team-high 47 digs in two matches last week, including 28 against Georgia, the ninth-most digs in a four-set match in program history.

>> Cianciulli recorded 30 digs in the four sets against Tennessee, tied for fourth-most digs in a four-set match in program history.

>> Cianciulli has a career total of 869 digs, just 131 digs away from 1,000 mark. If she reaches 1,000 this season, she’ll be the fastest player to reach the 1,000 dig club in program history. 

>> Cianciulli ranks second among the league in digs per set at 4.74. The Tigers also rank second in the SEC in digs per set at 15.35.

>> The Tigers enter the season with a total of 294 SEC victories, just needing four to close in on the 300 mark after the win over Auburn.

>> Head coach Fran Flory is in her 21st season at the helm of the LSU volleyball program. The winningest coach in school history, Flory has led the Tigers to NCAA Tournament appearances in nine of the last 13 seasons.
