PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — Seniors Jessica Golovin and Kennan Johnson will compete in the qualifying round of 64 in singles play in the ITA Women’s All-American tournament beginning Tuesday.
Johnson competed in the pre-qualifying rounds, taking down multiple ranked players to earn herself a slot in the qualifying round.
Both Tigers will both face ITA/Oracle ranked opponents in the round of 64. No. 64 Golovin will start her competition in the tournament with a match against St. John’s No. 89 Jessica Livianu. Johnson will face off against No. 43 Maria Kononova from North Texas.
The qualifying rounds of singles will begin at 12:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday and continue through Wednesday.
