COLLEGE STATION, Texas— The LSU men’s tennis team fell to the No. 6 Texas A&M Aggies, 7-0, Sunday afternoon at the Mitchell Tennis Center.
With the loss, LSU drops to 8-7 on the season and 1-4 in Southeastern Conference play. Texas A&M improves to 12-3 overall and 4-0 in the league.
Co-Head Coach Chris Brandi on the Match
“Texas A&M is a very good team, and we didn’t take advantage of the few opportunities we had to make it a match,” co-head coach Chris Brandi said. “In doubles we started slow and could not make up the gap. In the important moments in singles, they were composed and confident. We have to learn from them and keep improving down the stretch.”
