BATON ROUGE – The second-ranked LSU gymnastics team, the 2018 Southeastern Conference regular season champions, will return to the Maravich Center for the final time this season to face off against No. 36 Arizona at 4 p.m. CT Saturday.
The meet between the Tigers and Wildcats will mark the final one in the PMAC for seniors Myia Hambrick, Erin Macadaeg, Lauren Li, Kylie Moran, and manager Nico Cusimano. The senior class will be recognized during the team’s introductions. Fans are encouraged to arrive early with intros beginning at 3:30 p.m.
The regular season finale will only be streamed through WatchESPN.com and the app. Lyn Rollins and former LSU gymnast Ashley Lee will have the call for SECNetwork+.

Fans who have not purchased tickets yet are encouraged to buy ahead of time. Fans interested in going to both the gymnastics and baseball game can buy discounted tickets for both.
Student Promotions
Doors for LSU students open at 2:15 p.m. Saturday. LSU students are admitted for free with a valid student ID. The first 500 in attendance will receive a free Holy Cow t-shirt.

Home Arena Advantage at Play for the Tigers
LSU has gone undefeated inside the Maravich Center for four-straight seasons. The Tigers’ current record since the 2014 season stands at 33-0. During that stretch, LSU has beaten No. 7/9 Alabama, No. 14 Auburn, No. 2/3 Florida, No. 9 Georgia, No. 16 Minnesota, No. 6 Kentucky and No. 1 Oklahoma. The last loss in the Maravich Center came to Alabama in 2013. The program is one of three in the nation to go undefeated at home in that same stretch.
Tigers’ 197 Streak Continues in 2018
LSU is currently on a streak of 34 straights meets with a team score of 197 or better. The Tigers are the only team in the nation to have a 197 score or higher in every meet in 2018. The current streak is the best in school history. The 2017 team broke the original record of 15 in February last season. Thirty-four consecutive meets with a team score of 197 or better is also the second-longest streak in NCAA Gymnastics behind Oklahoma’s streak of 35 (Jan. ’16 – Feb. ’18)

LSU remained at second in the nation following a team score of 197.575 at NC State. LSU is ranked first on bars and floor, third on beam and fifth on vault.

Program Set for another Attendance Record Saturday
Already this season, LSU gymnastics has set five of the top-10 home attendance records in school history. More than 10,000 fans have attended each meet this season, including a school record crowd of 13,729 fans in the win over Alabama. LSU’s total attendance is already a school record 60,764 after five meets. The Tigers are capable of finishing second in the nation and first in the SEC in attendance for the first time in school history.
