BATON ROUGE – Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF), LSU gymnastics and head coach D-D Breaux recognized a group of individuals for their commitment to the program’s six and seventh scholarship endowments.
The announcement was made in a ceremony during Sunday’s meet against Auburn. Steve and Beth Tope were recognized for The Tope Family Scholarship. Thad and Vel Scott were also recognized for The Scott Family Endowment Scholarship Fund.
“The generosity of these families to our program will go on for generations to come,” Breaux said. “It’s not just about today, but it’s about tomorrow too. We want to preserve our past and define the future. I think the quest to endow scholarships is all about that. This is bigger than just today.”
