BATON ROUGE – The LSU Beach Volleyball team remains in the top-10 this week after going 2-2 at the UNF Beach Invitational over the weekend.
The Tigers are now ranked No. 9 in the AVCA Beach and DiG Magazine polls.
In St. Augustine over the weekend, LSU beat North Florida , 4-1, and UNC Wilmington, 5-0. The Tigers fell to 13th ranked Georgia State, 3-2, and No. 17 Florida Atlantic, 4-1.
LSU will travel to Los Angeles, California this weekend for the East vs. West Challenge where it will play the four top-ranked teams in the country per the AVCA Beach Poll. The Tigers will play No. 1 Pepperdine, No. 2 USC, No. 3 Hawaii and No. 4 UCLA over the course of two days.
The Tigers’ first home tournament of the season will take place at Mango’s off of Sherwood Forrest in Baton Rouge March 24-25.
