Thoughts from the Co-Head Coach Chris Brandi

“The guys are excited to get back out there and compete Tuesday,” co-head coach Chris Brandi said. “UL-Lafayette has one of their best teams in years. They are just coming off of a win against Rice on the road, so we have to be prepared. This will be a great test to find out where we are and what we need to continue to work on heading into the indoor qualifier this weekend.”

The Matchup

LSU is 19-0 all-time against UL-Lafayette. The last time the two teams met was in 2011. The Tigers took a 6-1 win at ‘Dub’ Robinson Stadium. This marks the first contest between the teams at the LSU Tennis Complex.

In the fall season, members of LSU and UL-Lafayette met six times on the singles courts. The Tigers held the 4-2 advantage.
