BATON ROUGE – After suffering its first loss in the Maravich Center this season and its first five-set loss this year, the LSU volleyball team (16-5, 7-3 SEC) will look to bounce back as the Tigers host Tennessee (10-9, 3-7 SEC) Sunday in the PMAC at 1 p.m. CT.
The matchup will air live on SEC Network+. Fans can access the match online through WatchESPN.com and the app. Lyn Rollins and Garrett Walvoord will be on the call.
Fran’s Final Thoughts
“Tennessee is a team that’s on the rise. They had some early season injuries and they had to revamp their lineup a little bit. Their people are back in the lineup. They’re a team that likes to rally. They’re certainly not as physical as a Kentucky, but when you play this type of match on Friday and then have to bounce back and get a game plan put in and do all of that in one day, that’s a tough turnaround for us. We talked to our team. Kentucky was a great opportunity. The Tennessee match is a match that we really need to have and we’ve got to protect our home court on Sunday. We have to come with that tenacity and that resiliency.”
