WEST POINT, Miss. – LSU junior Kathleen Gallagher shot a 1-under 71 in Round 2 of the Magnolia Invitational in West Point, Mississippi on Monday to hold on to second place in the standings. The Greenwood, Mississippi, native was 2-under on the front nine and leads the field on par 5 holes at 6-under.
The Lady Tigers are tied for sixth place with a 594 (+18) on the day. Co-host Ole Miss leads the field with a 9-under 567, while Tennessee remains in second with a 3-over 579.
Rookie Mary Frances Chauvin posted the second-best score on the team today with a 1-over 73, followed by senior Claudia De Antonio with a 2-over 74.
