ATHENS, Ga. –The LSU men’s tennis team travels to No. 13/14 Georgia for a match that will be streamed live online for the United States Tennis Association’s MatchDay series Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

“I am anxious to get back on the court and see who is ready to compete and continue improving as a team,” head coach Jeff Brown said. “Georgia is a strong team, and we need everyone on board.”

Tiger Tidbits
No. 44 Jordan Daigle has an 8-4 record on court one on the dual season. Against Dartmouth, the senior notched a quick 6-0, 6-1 victory against Ciro Riccardi. He has won six of his last seven matches on court one, including three victories against opponents ranked in the top-50.

Senior Justin Butsch is ranked No. 47 and has collected seven wins in his last nine matches. The senior also worked a straight-set 6-1, 6-3 victory against Max Fliegner on court two against Dartmouth.

Freshman Agie Moreno picked up his second-straight win as he defeated Dartmouth’s Diego Pedraza, 6-4, 6-3

Notes on the Bulldogs
Georgia has won 27 consecutive conference matches dating back to the 2012 season.

The Bulldogs have two ranked in singles—No. 32 Wayne Montgomery and No. 65 Emil Reinberg. In doubles, Jan Zielinski and Robert Loeb sit at eighth in the nation while Nathan Ponwith and Reinberg come in at 48th in the country.
