BATON ROUGE- The LSU baseball season opener against Air Force has been rained out.
The Tigers will now open the 2017 season on Saturday, Feb. 18, with a seven-inning doubleheader against Army starting at noon CT at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.
Friday’s Game 1 tickets may be used for the first game on Saturday.
The stadium will be cleared between games, and Game 2 will be played as originally scheduled between LSU and Army at 4 p.m. (also seven innings).
Both games of Saturday’s doubleheader will be available on SEC Network+ via the WatchESPN app. The LSU Sports Radio Network broadcast will air in Baton Rouge only by 100.7 FM and will be streamed free on www.LSUsports.net/live.
Game 3 of the weekend will also be played as scheduled between LSU and Air Force starting Sunday at 1 p.m. CT. It will be streamed on SEC Network+ via WatchESPN.com, aired on the LSU Sports Radio Network including Eagle 98.1 FM in Baton Rouge, and on LSUsports.net/live.

Noon – LSU vs. Army (7-inning game; fans should use their Game #1 ticket from Friday night’s rained out LSU-Air Force game for admission)

1 p.m. – LSU vs. Air Force (9-inning game; fans should use Game #3 ticket for admission
