BATON ROUGE — Co-head coaches Julia Sell and Michael Sell are excited to announce their second consecutive Top-3 recruiting class as LSU’s 2017 class was ranked third in the country by tennisrecruiting.net Monday.
Following up last season’s No. 1 recruiting class, the 2017 class is yet another impressive haul for the Sells, who have revitalized the women’s tennis program at LSU.
The 2017 class will arrive on campus and be instant contributors to a Tiger squad that will graduate three seniors at the end of this season.
“This class will make an immediate impact on our team and we are thrilled they will be wearing the Purple and Gold,” said the Sells.
The Tigers are currently 5-1 on the season and undefeated at home, outscoring their opponents 27-0 at the LSU Tennis Complex.
