GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The LSU men’s tennis team will compete in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend at the Ring Tennis Complex beginning Saturday at 10 a.m. CT against South Florida.
The Tigers will compete on Sunday against either Florida or UNC-Wilmington at a time to be determined.
Fans can follow the match at www.lsustats.com and on Twitter @lsutennis.
LSU is 11-1 all time against USF. The last time LSU played USF was in 2016 when the Bulls were ranked No. 13 and defeated the Tigers 4-0.
“This is a great group of teams, and the competition will be strong,” head coach Jeff Brown said. “This will help us measure where we are going forward.”
The Tigers are searching for their first win of the 2017 dual season.
Last week against Memphis, senior Jordan Daigle defeated No. 35 Ryan Peniston, 6-2, 7-5, to notch his eighth career victory against a ranked opponent.
