BATON ROUGE — The Intercollegiate Tennis Association released its latest edition of the Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Division I rankings Wednesday, listing LSU as the No. 19 team in the nation.
The Tigers opened the 2017 season in impressive fashion with 7-0 wins over both Northwestern St. and Southern and head to Charlottesville, Va. to compete in the ITA Kickoff Weekend against Wake Forest Saturday before facing either Ole Miss or Virginia on Sunday.
The SEC leads the country in Top 25 teams with nine: Florida (1), Georgia (6), Vanderbilt (9), Auburn (15), South Carolina (16), LSU (19), Kentucky (20), Texas A&M (22) and Mississippi State (23).
