BATON ROUGE— The LSU men’s tennis team will have its match at No. 6 Georgia on March 23 featured as part of the 2017 College MatchDay series, the USTA announced Friday.
College Match Day will showcase nine matches featured the country’s top tennis programs and players. The matches will be streamed live on ESPN3 through Watch ESPN and the WatchESPN app.
“We are so excited for fans to be able to see the passion, tradition and talent on display during a collegiate team match with the College MatchDay series,” said USTA Collegiate tennis Director Stephan Amritraj. “This is the most underrated property in tennis, and we’re excited to have these ‘bowl games’ of college tennis as a way to increase its visibility.”
The Tigers will open the dual season at Memphis on Sunday, Jan. 22 at 1:30 p.m. CT.
