COLUMBIA, Mo. – The LSU volleyball team closes out a run of three matches in six days against some of the top teams in the Southeastern Conference with Missouri at 7 p.m. CT Wednesday night at the Hearnes Center.
All seven of LSU’s (7-12, 2-6 SEC) win this season have come on the road. Missouri (16-3, 7-0 SEC) sits in second place in the overall conference standings behind Kentucky. The matchup between the Tigers will be aired live on the SEC Network as well as streamed online through WatchESPN.com and the app.
Flory’s Thoughts
“Overall, we have to find a rhythm and maintain the balance offensively and defensively,” head coach Fran Flory said. “On Sunday we did not play well defensively so we really worked on that yesterday in practice.”
Last Time Out
Junior Gina Tillis finished with a conference-best 19 kills in LSU’s 3-1 loss to South Carolina Sunday. Freshman Sydney Mukes also finished second in kills with 11. The Tigers tied the match at one overall heading into the intermission but allowed the Gamecocks to take the momentum out of halftime. Looking to tie the match at two in the fourth set with a 12-6, USC came back to take the set and match.

The squad ranks second in the league in hitting percentage and 15th in the country.
