PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — Ryann Foster‘s strong campaign at the ITA Women’s All-American Championships concluded Wednesday at the Riviera Tennis Club.

In a tightly-played match against No. 68 Anna Sanford of Ohio State, Foster fell in the consolation round of 16.

Foster began her dominating opening stretch in the All-American Championships by defeating three straight opponents in singles competition without dropping a set. Overall, Foster finished singles competition with a 4-2 record, including two wins against ranked opponents.

“It was a positive tournament for Ryann winning four of her six singles matches in the biggest collegiate fall tournament,” said co-head coach Michael Sell. “Her continued desire to improve and better her understanding of specific scenarios on the court will only improve her development and results. We are thrilled she is a Tiger!”

The Lady Tigers will return to training in Baton Rouge in preparation for the ITA Southern Regional beginning Oct. 14 in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
