BATON ROUGE – LSU junior wide receiver Malachi Dupre was named to the 2016 Biletnikoff Award Watch List as announced Wednesday by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, Inc.
The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the outstanding receiver in college football.
A New Orleans, Louisiana native, Dupre led the team in receptions (43), receiving yards (698) and receiving touchdowns (6) as a sophomore in 2015.
Dupre enters the 2016 season riding a streak of 12 consecutive games with at least one reception after he caught a pass in every game last year. He has made at least one catch in 20-of-24 career games played.
Ten semifinalists for the award will be announced on Nov. 14, and three finalists will be released on Nov. 22. The Biletnikoff Award winner will be announced during The Home Depot College Football Awards Show on Dec. 8.
