BATON ROUGE, La. – After a week away from play, No. 48 LSU (8-8, 1-5 SEC) travels to Nashville to face No. 49 Vanderbilt (9-8, 3-2 SEC) at 12 p.m. Sunday at the Currey Tennis Center.

The Commodores are coming off of a 4-3 upset, Friday, over No. 7 Texas A&M. This win brings Vanderbilt to a four match win streak with victories over their last three SEC opponents. Vanderbilt boasts the No. 67 and No. 92 singles players in Daniel Valent and Cameron Klinger along with the No. 33 duo in Klinger and Rhys Johnson.

The Tigers take on Vanderbilt carrying one SEC win, over Auburn. but since have gone on a four match SEC losing streak. LSU has a tied SEC record with Auburn and is ahead of Tennessee who has an 0-6 SEC record. LSU’s Jordan Daigle remains ranked, at No. 69 and holds the No. 10 doubles spot with partner Boris Arias.

Last time the teams faced, LSU got a 4-1 win over Vanderbilt in Baton Rouge. Historically LSU is 46-19 over the Commodores.
