COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Freshman Lizzie Cui qualified for the 2016 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on one-meter on the opening day of Zone Diving Regional at Texas A&M’s Student Recreation Center.
Cui compiled a two-list score of 617.30 for second overall in the event. Cui’s score of 309.20 in prelims was enough for third overall and the eight-best score in school history.
Seniors Cassie Weil and Allie Alter as well as freshman Rileigh Knox also moved on to the final of one-meter. Alter finished 13th with a score of 545.30 and Weil finished in 16th-place with a score of 534.85. Knox Rounded out the group in 18th place (515.50).
