BATON ROUGE – LSU gymnastics put up a season-high road score of 196.800 last week against Georgia, and the Tigers checked in at No. 6 in the latest Top 25 national rankings released Monday by RoadToNationals.com.

LSU is 7-2 overall and 3-1 against Southeastern Conference competition as the Tigers prepare for another Top-10 matchup Friday against eighth-ranked Auburn.

Introductions will start at 7:15 p.m. CT Friday in the Maravich Center, and first vault is slated for 7:35 p.m.

Notes on the Tigers
LSU set a season high road score with a 196.800 at No. 11 Georgia, but it was not enough to overcome the Gymdogs’ season-best 197.525 on Saturday. The Tigers posted 49.275s on vault and floor, a 49.200 on bars and 49.050 on beam to reach the season high road score. Ashleigh Gnat added to her team lead in individual titles this season by winning the vault title with a 9.95 and the floor title with a 9.925. Gnat is now up to 11 titles this season. Erin Macadaeg also captured her second beam title of the season with a 9.925 from the leadoff spot. As a team LSU dropped one spot to No. 6 in the national rankings with a 196.721 season average. The Tigers rank No. 2 nationally on vault at 49.346, No. 9 on bars at 49.154, No. 13 on beam at 48.942 and No. 7 on floor at 49.279. Individually, Gnat ranks first on vault, fifth on floor and 21st in the all-around. Macadaeg is still No. 1 on floor (with a 9.95 in her only competition). Myia Hambrick ranks eighth in the all-around, 22nd on vault and 24th on floor. Sydney Ewing is seventh on vault. Randii Wyrick is 25th on vault and floor. Lexie Priessman is 14th on bars, and Shae Zamardi is 22nd on bars. LSU returns home for another Top-10 matchup against eighth-ranked Auburn. The meet will begin at 7:30 p.m. CT Friday from the Maravich Center, and it will air live on SEC Network.
