BATON ROUGE, La. — It is time for the spring season to begin as LSU Men’s Tennis travels to Fort Myers, Florida to participate in the FGCU Spring Invitational.
“This tournament has served us well in recent years,” Head Coach Jeff Brown said. “The team is training and back together early in January with our focus on our first team event later this month.”
This Tiger team is rejoining for the first time since the Birmingham Invitational in mid November where newcomer Cameron Andry got to show his improvement throughout his fall campaign after defeating William Jou of Texas in the final day of the tournament.
FGCU hosts the round robin tournament that will showcase talents from four teams in LSU, FGCU, Kentucky and Memphis, beginning Friday, Jan. 8 at 11 p.m. C.T. and runs through Sunday, Jan. 10.
