BATON ROUGE – The Johnny Jones Radio Show presented by Capital One Bank will have its 2015-16 season debut on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. at TJ Ribs on Acadian Thruway in Baton Rouge and the affiliates of the LSU Sports Radio Network.
The show, which will air on most Monday nights, will be on Tuesday this week because of LSU’s Monday game at Charleston. The show will follow the weekly Tuesday telecast of The Nikki Fargas Show also on the LSU Sports Radio Network at TJ Ribs at 7 p.m.
The “Voice of the Tigers” Jim Hawthorne will be back to host the hour show that will feature phone calls from listeners and a live question segment from fans in the audience.
The flagship station for the broadcast and the network is Eagle 98.1 FM in Baton Rouge. Other affiliates carrying the show on Tuesday include: Alexandria (KSYL 970 AM); Bogalusa (WBOX, 92.9 FM); Ferriday (KFNV, 107.1 FM); Jena (KJNA, 102.7 FM); Lafayette/Opelousas (KLWB, 103.7 FM); Lake Charles (KXZZ, 1580 AM); Leesville (KJAE, 93.5 FM); Monroe (KMLB, 540 AM); Morgan City (KFRA, 1390 AM); New Orleans (WWL, 870AM); Ruston (KRUS, 1490 AM); Shreveport (KWKH, 1130 AM); Tylertown, Miss. (WFCG 107.3 FM); Ville Platte (KVPI, 1050 AM).
After this show, the program will air on Monday nights except for Wednesday night shows on Jan. 20, Feb. 3 and 24.
