BATON ROUGE — After a one-week absence, the LSU Football team re-entered the national polls following a 19-7 victory over Texas A&M on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.

LSU (8-3, 5-3 SEC), which awaits its postseason bowl berth for the 16th-straight season, was ranked No. 23 in both the AP Top 25 and the Amway Coaches Poll released Sunday morning. 

Bowl announcements will be made on the afternoon of Sunday, Dec. 6.
