Women’s Golf Signs Monica Dibildox

BATON ROUGE – LSU Athletics has approved paperwork and women’s golf coach Karen Bahnsen has announced that Monica Dibildox of Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico has signed NLI papers for the upcoming 2016-17 school year.

Dibildox has played the game at the highest international levels, participating in the United States Women’s Amateur and reaching match play in the United States Girls Junior Championship with stroke play scores of 76-69. She tied for sixth in the Mexican Amateur and was third at the AJG Under Armour/Jordan Spieth Championship.

In 2014, she was in the top 10 in four junior events (including a fourth in the Jordan Spieth event) and reached the round of 32 in the USGA Junior Girls Championship.

She was ranked No. 18 on a list of the top 50 recruits in the class of 2016.

Dibildox attends school at the Instituto De Ensenanza Abierta.

“We are so excited to have Monica join our program. She has such a competitive spirit and energy that I know will be a great addition to our program,” said Coach Bahnsen.
