BATON ROUGE – LSU junior Trent Domingue is one of 20 semifinalists for the 2015 Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award presented by the Orange Bowl, the Palm Beach County Sports Commission announced Thursday.

A native of Mandeville, La., Domingue is a perfect 9-of-9 on field goals and 35-of-35 on point after touchdown attempts this season.

Domingue has scored a total of 68 points as he added a 16-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter against Florida on Oct. 17.

Three finalists for the award will be announced Nov. 24, and the winner will be revealed on the Home Depot College Football Awards Show on ESPN Dec. 10 in Atlanta, Ga.

No. 2 LSU (7-0, 4-0 SEC) returns to action Saturday when the Tigers travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to face No. 4 Alabama (7-1, 4-1) at 7 p.m. CT in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
