BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU outside hitter Cati Leak will miss the remainder of the 2015 regular season after sustaining a lower-leg injury during team warmups prior to the start of LSU’s match against the University of Kentucky Sunday afternoon in Lexington.
Leak, A Guntersville, Alabama, native has played in 22 of the Tigers’ 23 matches this season, earning 261 kills for a 3.18 kills per set average, with 242 digs and averaging 2.95 digs per set. Leak led the team with 11 double-doubles on the year to go along with 25 service aces which was also a team high.

Leak was injured with less than 11 minutes remaining before the start of the contest, and she was attended to by both LSU and Kentucky medical personnel for several minutes on the court. She was then transported to a local hospital where she was admitted for further care and did not travel with the team back to Baton Rouge Sunday.
The LSU volleyball coaching staff would like to thank the Kentucky volleyball staff, student-athletes, administration, fans and medical personnel who helped in attending to Leak during this time.
