BATON ROUGE – LSU gymnastics head coach D-D Breaux, associate head coach Jay Clark and assistant coach Bob Moore organized a cookout for all the members of the LSU Facilities & Grounds staff Wednesday afternoon on campus.

Clark and Moore grilled hamburgers, and Breaux and the Tiger Athletic Foundation Premium Seating Group served the food to the athletics facilities crew.

“This was really a thank you and an appreciation to that group who works so hard to make all of our events special and run so well,” Breaux said. “There was a tremendous amount of camaraderie among everyone, and we all had a great time with some good food.”

Breaux noted this was the “maiden cookout” for Clark’s new and improved barbecue pit, so he was excited to put it to use to for fellowship with the facilities and grounds staff.

“The thought and effort by the gymnastics coaching staff to provide a meal for our entire Athletic Facilities staff was amazing and will not be forgotten,” said Terrance Bold, LSU Assistant Director of Facilities & Grounds. “The nature of what we do requires us to be the very first to arrive and the very last to leave. The gymnastics staff made sure that this show of appreciation was at a time we were able to choose so everyone could enjoy and be involved.

“On behalf of Athletic Facilities I would like to thank everyone that put forward this type of effort to appreciate our staff.”
