BATON ROUGE – The LSU men’s basketball team will give fans a sneak peek at what they will see in the upcoming season when they host a “Men’s Basketball Showcase” on the floor of the Pete Maravich Assembly Center prior to the LSU-Florida football game Saturday.
The “Showcase” will take place from 3:45-4:15 p.m. during the LSU Tailgate Party sponsored by Peoples Health which is open to current TAF, LSU Alumni and LSU Foundation members and their guests.
All Men’s Basketball Season Ticket holders and Tip-Off Club members are invited to attend and will be hosted in a private area and should enter at the Northwest Entrance of the Maravich Center.
The event will allow access to the players and coaching staff of the 2015-16 men’s basketball team and hear from fourth-year head coach Johnny Jones. There will be a series of skill drills, a dunk exhibition and a brief scrimmage.
The first 3,000 fans will have the opportunity to pick up the new 2015-16 team photo.

The LSU team will play a free exhibition game on Friday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. against Southwest Baptist and will open the season on Friday, Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. on ESPNU against McNeese State.
