Why did you choose LSU?
I chose LSU because I love the atmosphere. I love everything about the campus and the school, and I also love everything about our program and the team!
What has been your favorite moment at LSU?
My favorite moment was definitely going to Super Six in 2014. That year our team made history when we placed third, and I will never forget that.
What are your goals for the 2016 season?
This year is our year. I think that our team is on the hunt for an SEC Championship and then of course a National Championship.
What have you worked on the most in the gym to prepare for 2016?
This summer I have worked a lot on personal fitness, getting a lot of workouts in with (strength and conditioning coach) Earl (Chevalier), and in the gym mostly maintaining the skills that I already have and perfecting them to my best ability.
Have you checked out the construction of the new training facility? What are your thoughts?
Yes! We just recently were able to tour the new facility, and it is AMAZING! I’m getting very anxious to be moved in and practicing in there!
Ok, now to the fun questions.
Do you have a talent other than gymnastics? What is it?
My other talent would have to be art! I love to paint and draw whenever I have free time.
If the team was to come to your house for dinner, what would you prepare for them? Be honest 🙂
I would probably prepare everyone a bowl of cereal; that’s about the extent of my culinary talents.
What do you like most about your hometown?
I think what I love most about going home is being able to spend quality time with my family. I have two nieces and two nephews and they are growing up so fast, so when I go home I try to spend as much time as I can with them.
What is your go-to Pandora station?
Sam Smith!
What song describes your work ethic when it comes to gymnastics?
“I Don’t Get Tired” by Kevin Gates
How many quarters would you need to stack in order to reach the top of the Maravich Center?
3.2 million
Without looking it up, can you tell us how many years Bob Moore has coached at LSU?
Maybe 26 years
[Bob Moore is starting his 17th season at LSU.]
If someone asked you why they should get LSU gymnastics season tickets, what would you tell them?
I think people should buy season tickets because it includes Friday nights filled with non-stop action and fun!
Do you want to build a snowman?
The only answer to this question is YES.
