WACO, Texas – The No. 14 doubles team of LSU sophomore Jordan Daigle and junior Boris Arias will travel to Waco, Texas to compete in the NCAA Doubles Championship event at the Hurd Tennis Center on Thursday, May 21.

Daigle and Arias will open the doubles tournament against the No. 12 UCLA pair of freshman Martin Redilicki and sophomore Mackenzie McDonald. The Tiger duo notched seven ranked victories this season including four in the top 25, and three in the top eight.

“[Daigle and Arias] have certainly faced top-caliber opponents throughout the season as has everyone in the field,” said head coach Jeff Brown. “It is going to come down to who comes out and plays well.”

The winner of Thursday’s match will advance to face the winner of the match between No. 7 Kevin Metka and Ralf Steinbach from Ohio State and No. 15 Alex Lawson and Billy Pecor from Notre Dame on Friday in the round of 16.
