STARKVILLE, Miss. – The No. 24 LSU men’s tennis team will travel to Starkville, Miss. on Sunday for their final regular season match of the 2015 season where they will take on the No. 20 Mississippi State Bulldogs in the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre at 10 a.m. CDT.

A win in Sunday’s match against the Bulldogs (17-6, 8-3 SEC) would be the Tigers’ (16-6, 6-5 SEC) 17th win of the season which would mark the first time since 2007 that LSU has posted a season with 17 or more victories. The Tigers went 18-7 in 2007 and finished the year ranked No. 15.

“This is another great match up with both teams looking to bounce back from the last time out,” said head coach Jeff Brown. “We both have had a good year and it should be a high-level contest.”

The match will feature four ranked singles players and two ranked doubles teams across both lineups. LSU sophomore Jordan Daigle is ranked No. 76 and senior Chris Simpson is ranked No. 121. Daigle and junior Boris Arias are ranked No. 23 in doubles.

For Mississippi State, sophomore Florian Lakat is ranked No. 73 and junior Mate Cutura is ranked No. 96. Lakat and freshman Julian Cash are ranked No. 15 in doubles.
