BATON ROUGE, La. – The No. 24 LSU men’s tennis team (14-4, 4-3 SEC) will host No. 53 Arkansas (11-10, 1-6 SEC) on Sunday at 1 pm CST as the Tigers will look to start a new winning streak after losing to No. 13 Ole Miss on Friday.
Head coach Jeff Brown said his team remains confident despite the loss and is looking at Sunday’s match as an opportunity for a quick turnaround.
“Nothing to hide here, the challenge is to have full focus on Arkansas and use Friday’s setback as motivation,” Brown said. “You have to have a short memory regardless of the outcome of your last match.”
The Razorbacks will also be looking to rebound after they fell by a score of 4-0 on Friday when they visited Texas A&M. The Tigers will be looking for revenge after losing in Arkansas last season by a score of 1-4.
“It will be a great day ton enjoy some great tennis and help push us through,” Brown said.
