BATON ROUGE – LSU senior gymnast Jessie Jordan was selected to the Southeastern Conference Community Service Team, the league office announced Friday.

Jordan is the gymnastics team’s representative on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) where she serves as Director of Programming for the group. She is also a veteran member of the LSU Leadership Academy.

In the classroom, Jordan is on pace to graduate in 2015 with a degree in kinesiology and a concentration in human movement.

Inside the gym, Jordan ranks as one of the top all-arounders in the nation. She is No. 4 nationally in the all-around, No. 3 on beam and 11th on floor. She is second on the team with 14 individual titles this season, including seven on beam and three in the all-around.

A two-time SEC Gymnast of the Week this season, Jordan has posted season highs of 10.0 on vault, 9.925 on bars, 9.95 on beam, 9.925 on floor and 39.675 in the all-around.
