BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU Tiger Tracks, a program highlighting various aspects of the university and its athletic department, can be seen at 7 p.m. CT Wednesday, 3:30 p.m. CT Thursday and 6 p.m. CT Friday on Cox Sports Television.
The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a weekly 30-minute production featuring interviews with LSU administrators, coaches and student-athletes, along with a look at some of the events and scholarly activity on campus.
LSU Tiger Tracks begins with a report on the men’s basketball team, which has earned its first NCAA Tournament bid since 2009. The Tigers are the No. 9 seed in the East Regional and will face North Carolina State at approximately 8:20 p.m. CT Thursday in Pittsburgh, Pa.
The show continues with an update on the women’s basketball team, which has secured a berth in the NCAA Tournament for the fourth straight year. The Lady Tigers play their first-round game against South Florida on Saturday at approximately 5:30 p.m. CT in Tampa, Fla.
LSU Tiger Tracks also features a profile by correspondent Garrett Walvoord on LSU gymnast Jessica Savona, a 2014 first-team all-American who has played a vital role this season in the Tigers’ rise to No. 3 in the national rankings.
