BATON ROUGE – The LSU gymnastics team checked in at No. 3 in the newest GymInfo national rankings released Monday.
LSU (3-0, 1-0 Southeastern Conference) has a 196.863 average after two meets to rank third while Florida and Oklahoma are tied at No. 1 with matching 197.063 averages.
The Tigers are No. 2 in the beam standings with a 49.150 average, No. 3 on bars with a 49.338 average and No. 7 on vault (49.238) and floor (49.138).
In the individual rankings, Jessie Jordan ranks No. 3 nationally in the all-around with a 39.537 average. She is No. 1 on floor with a 9.925 average, No. 2 on beam at 9.913 and No. 11 on bars at 9.888.
Rheagan Courville is No. 9 in the all-around standings with a 39.338 average, and she is No. 2 on bars at 9.938 and No. 25 on vault at 9.875.
Erin Macadaeg is No. 7 on beam with a 9.875 average, while Lloimincia Hall is No. 13 on floor at 9.887 and Jessica Savona is No. 15 on floor at 9.875.
LSU is back in action Friday when the Tigers host Missouri (2-1) at 7:30 p.m. CT inside the Maravich Center. Team introductions begin at 7:15 p.m., so fans are encouraged to arrive early.
