Start Times Changed for Four Gymnastics Meets

BATON ROUGE – In an effort to make attendance more convenient, LSU gymnastics has changed the start times of four home meets this season to 7:30 p.m. CT.

The additional half-hour has been added to give families and fans more time to arrive at the Maravich Center to watch the exciting action.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early and be in their seats 15 minutes before the start of the meet because that is when the march out and introductions will occur.

The following meets will begin at 7:30 p.m. this season: the season opener on Friday, Jan. 9, against Iowa; the Jan. 23 meet against Missouri; the Feb. 20 meet against Florida; and the March 6 contest against Minnesota.

LSU’s home meet against Georgia on Feb. 6 will remain at 7 p.m. since it will be televised live on the SEC Network. Fans are encouraged to arrive by 6:45 p.m. and fill up the Maravich Center for the nationally televised event.

An updated parking map for all home LSU gymnastics meets is available here: http://lsul.su/1xGAyBH. Lot 201, located adjacent to the east side of the Maravich Center, is reserved.

In addition, Lot 105 is reserved as handicap parking, and state issued identification is required. Handicap shuttle pickup/dropoff will be available near Lot 105 as well as Lot 201.

All other parking lots are designated as free public parking for home meets.

Season tickets are available for purchase at a cost of $25 for adults and $15 for youth ages 3-12. Fans can purchase season tickets by logging on to http://www.lsutix.net/, calling the LSU Ticket Office at 225-578-2184 or by visiting the ticket office in person on the first floor of the Moran Family Center for Athletic Administration on campus.

Single-meet tickets are also available for purchase at a cost of $8 for adults and $5 for youth. Single-meet tickets can be purchased online, over the phone, in person at the ticket office or at the Maravich Center ticket office beginning an hour and a half prior to the start of the meet.
