Temple III to Join Jones at Tuesday L’Auberge Lunch

BATON ROUGE – Former LSU player and one of three members of his family to play at LSU, Collis Temple III, will be the guest speaker for the December edition of the Tipoff Luncheon with Coach Johnny Jones at L’Auberge Resort set for Tuesday, Dec. 9.

The monthly gatherings for good food and basketball conversations are presented by Hub International.

The event will feature Coach Jones speaking about his team and the 2014-15 season to date heading into a Dec. 13 home game against Sam Houston State. Jones will take questions from the media and audience on hand.

Temple III played on the NCAA Sweet 16 team and SEC Championship team of 2000 and the 2003 team that beat No. 1 Arizona and went to the NCAA Tournament. His father, Collis, Sr., played at LSU under Coach Dale Brown in the 1970s and his young brother, Garrett, played on two SEC Championship teams and is now in the NBA playing for the Washington Wizards.

The L’Auberge Resort is located off Nicholson Drive in Baton Rouge at the Bon Temps Buffet. The Buffet is available at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at 12:10 p.m. The all-you-can-eat buffet charge is $14.99 a person. The buffet is located on the ground floor of the resort in the casino area.

To get to the L’Auberge resort from the LSU area, follow LA-30 N. /Nicholson Drive. Turn Left onto L’Auberge Crossing Drive and follow the signs to L’Auberge Baton Rouge.
