Lady Tiger Bradley Leads Dixie Amateur

CORAL SPRINGS, FLA. – LSU women’s golfer Elise Bradley fired a 5-under par 67 here Tuesday to break a three-way tie and vault into the lead after 36 holes of the prestigious Dixie Amateur at the Heron Bay Golf Club.

Bradley’s 67 followed a 1-under par 71 on Monday to stand at 6-under 138 for the first two days of the 72-hole tournament. The Mandeville, Louisiana junior is up three shots on Marion Veysseyre of France (72-69) at 141 in second and Justin Dreher, a senior at South Carolina, who is also from France.  Dreher has posted 73-69 and is in third at 2-under par 142.

Also in this 84th annual event are LSU golfers Carly Ray Goldstein and Sydney Cavin. Goldstein, who is a Florida native, rallied strongly from an opening round 80 with an even par 72 and is tied for 34th place at 8-over 152, while Cavin posted rounds of 80-78 and is 14-over 158, tied for 73rd.

The third round is set for Wednesday with a cut for the final round on Thursday.
