LSU came off of its final exams break and picked up its second straight win to even its record at 4-4 on the season. Harden matched a career-high with 20 points and added a career-best nine rebounds to nearly secure her first career double-double. She also dished out a career-high four assists and added four steals. The 20 points are the most scored by a LSU player this season. The last time Harden scored 20 points was against Stephen F. Austin to open the 2013-14 season where she won the SEC’s Player of the Week award.

Notes on the Tigers
LSU collected a 75-42 victory over Southeastern Louisiana to even its record at 4-4. The 75 points were a season-high for the Lady Tigers. LSU’s starting five combined for 59 points, 40 rebounds and 19 assists. DaShawn Harden extended her streak to four straight games in double figures and equaled a career-high with 20 points. She also picked up a career-best nine rebounds to go along with a career-high four assists and four steals. For the season, Harden has averaged 10.6 points and 2.6 steals per game. Raigyne Moncrief dished out a career-high nine assists to go along with eight points and eight rebounds. She has amassed a team-leading 10.8 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. Sheila Boykin notched her first career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. She scored 10 of her 12 points during the second half of the Southeastern Louisiana game. Anne Pedersen reached double figures for the third time on the season. She came away with 10 points, five rebounds and four assists. Akilah Bethel added nine points and seven rebounds. LSU’s bench play was led by Stephanie Amichia, Jenna Deemer and Rina Hill. The trio combined for 16 points and eight rebounds. Up next, LSU travels to Long Beach State (Tuesday – 9 p.m. CT) and UC Santa Barbara (Friday – 9:30 p.m.) for its first true road games of the season.
