BATON ROUGE – The new season of “Inside LSU Basketball” with Johnny Jones presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors makes its 2014-15 season debut beginning Sunday night on the LSU Sports Television Network.
There couldn’t be a better weekend for the show to make its debut as it will have highlights from LSU’s 82-60 win on Tuesday over Massachusetts in Baton Rouge and then Thursday’s dramatic SEC/Big 12 Challenge upset of No. 16 West Virginia in Morgantown, 74-73.
Coach Johnny Jones will look at those two games and take an inside look at the season so far. Jordy Hultberg returns to host the show, although the “Voice of the Tigers” Jim Hawthorne will be alongside the coach due to travel issues prior to the taping of the first show.
The show will air for two weeks on Dec. 7 and 14 before returning on Jan. 4 for nine straight weeks during SEC play.
