BATON ROUGE, La. – A day removed from announcing the two newest additions to the squad for 2015, the LSU volleyball team received another commitment on Thursday during the early signing period in the form of standout middle blocker Brittany Welsh who will join the Tigers as a freshman next fall.
Welsh is the third member of the class along with Olivia Beyer and Katie Kampen who were both announced as the newest Tigers on Wednesday when the early signing period officially began.
“We are excited to add Brittany to our LSU family,” head coach Fran Flory said. “She will add great size and athleticism to the class. She is a great addition to our program in the classroom, on the court and many other aspects as a true student-athlete.
